Delhi Day 5

Yasmin went shopping and got clothes for the kids and herself. Shawn went to Bengali market for a drive. Not as hot as yesterday

Wednesday, September 28

We went over to Pranav's place and met his mum, dad, cousin and grandmom. On the way Shawn head banged to the guys who were practicing their rock covers. Shawn developed a taste for cheeselings and ate most of the cheeselings which he had droped on the floor. He then proceeded to rearrange the curios and run all around the house.

Delhi Day 3

Deepa, Dianne & new husband, Delicia & Bharat came over for wine, biryani & cake. The kids got a lot of new presents, the highlight of which was the whistle, bubble blower combo. Yohan got an elephant shapped pillow. Shawn was in a better mood and spoke a few words when prompted. There was the usual arguement as to who was his god mother, Delicia demonstrated her credentials by feeding Shawn very well. Rahul & Rajat were unable to make it due to mother in laws fall, faulty wiring in the house respectively.

Monday, September 26

Delhi Day 2

We went over to Rohin's place which was as warm as an oven. Shawn played with the jharoo and ate the outer layer of a wanton. Since it was so warm both kids were quite irritable. Shawn amused him self by climbing up and down the steps in Rohin's hall leading to the terrace and by sitting in Rohin's beanbag.

Sunday, September 25

Delhi Day 1

Shawn had a great time running all around Bombay airport. He slept just as we were about to take off. Since they gave us the last 3 seats, we put him in the aisle seat and he slept for over an hour. When he awoke the airhostesses were gushing over him but since they spoke to him in Hindi, he did not understand what they told him & he could not reply. Yohan slept for the complete trip and we hardly heard a peep out of him.
