Poona holiday

We had a relaxed holiday the boys went to the zoo and saw the monkey elephant snakes deer and sleeping tiger and cheetah. Shawn wanted to see the wolf but we could not see him. Yohan got tired but was fine after he ate an ice cream

In the evening Sonia and Gautam came over and G played with the boys and took the boys piggy back.
Shawn started to read the first pages of his Cars book and also wanted a joke book. He was also able to convince Diba to get him a PSP. On the way back both boys counted motorbikes and auto and shortly afterwards went off to sleep.

Poona holiday

We reached Poona late and went off to sleep. For lunch the boys had a crossiant and udipi followed by a trek thru toyland which made them so tired they slept thru dinner at Oh! Calcutta

Back in Bombay

The boys came in the afternoon and went to Otters in the evening with Rustom. They ate idli and dosa and Shawn wanted to eat bhel.

Meeting after 3 weeks

Due to an absconding Jet pilot I reached after the kids were asleep. Yohan woke up at 7 and played on the scooter and with his LMcQ car. Shawn got up later and was his usual shy self. In the evening we went to Amby mall as Shawn wanted to go to the jungle gym. As usual we ate the happy mean and got Avatar toys

Fever

Both Shawn and Yohan had fever and vomited. Yohan had an injection and told everyone he did not cry. He also had his second swine flu test

Shawn's birthday

We all went to Spaghetti Kitchen with Cya-kaka. They ate the pepperoni but not the ham pizza

Adventure Island

The boys flew planes, drove cars, jeeps and boats at adventure island

Podar school

Shawn sat thru a 2 hour entrance test for Podar school. He said he only finished part of the second sheet

Shayan

We went to Shayan's house on sunday and he came over on monday. They all had a blast

Yohan's glasses

We suspected that Shawn needed glasses, he did not but Yohan did. Shawn was very upset that Yohan got a new pair and he did not.

Delicia's birthday

The boys played with the new pups and the cycle and scooter. They played with Keira and Yohan kissed baby Zoey

Blind school fair

We went to the Blind School Fair. On the way we stopped by Ansal Plaza and later we saw a pizza being prepared at Amici's at Khan Market.

Science museum

The kids enjoyed them selves at the museum. Shawn liked the skeleton, dinosaurs, fun mirrors, pin tray the best.

Oct 2

The boys went to the mall - Yohan wanted a TV and waterproof camera while Shawn had his eyes set on a PSP. He was promised a PSP if he got 100 stars from school on his 7th birthday

Duserra holiday

We started by watching Up, going to the jungle gym, lunch at Kentucky Fried Chicken. They fell asleep when we went into Delhi to pick up Cavas

Bombay Holiday

The boys went to Otters Club, Rambo circus, Ananth & Udays house and Bandra Fair.

Ethan's party

After a week away from home we went to Ethan's 1st birthday party. Shawn found a pedal car and started playing, Yohan got a bit scared of the alsatian but stayed up late. They had a great time playing on the bunk beds

Keira's birthday

We all went for Keiraaks 3rd birthday party. The boys jumped on the inflatable castle and Shawn hurt his forehead. Shawn preferred samosa's to sandwiches and we left early as the boys were sleepy

Yohan's illness

Yohan fell ill with fever and vomiting, even though the doctor in the morning said he was ok. He was restless throughout the night. During the day he was ok but went off to sleep early in the evening

Back home from Bombay

Shawn saw me but hid behind the wall and then ran into the bedroom. Yohan saw me and said "where is mamma?", he then called Yasmin and spoke to her

Kids alone

The boys have behaved themselves and spoke to us on the phone. Yohan asked Yasmin to take the next flight back.

Tonino's

For once Shawn ate his pizza faster than Yohan. Shawn ate the bread and butter but Yohan added olive oil. They also liked the chocolates and Shawn fell asleep on the way back

Squirrel park and Bisque

The boys went for a run thru Squirrel and ate icecream. Later on we went to Pizza Hut but due to poor service we went to Bisque and ate pasta and sandwitches. Yohan gave his baloon to the baby in the pram.

Dropping the boys to school

Yohan cried and clung to me when I dropped him on the first day, after that both of them go happily to their class rooms

Starting school

Today was the first day after the summer break. They went to school happily

Couch potato

 
They love to watch Tom & Jerry and Shawn now knows how to change the channels. He also sneakly takes the remote and changes the channel

Lonavala

We went to a lovely bungalow in Lonavala for a few days. Shawn fell in the mud chasing chickens. The boys spend all the time running around the bungalow but ate their food well. Once we were back in Poona we had pizza and shawarma for dinner followed up with ice cream.

Otters club

The boys enjoyed their swim and the kiddie library. They ate dosa, sandwitches and bhel. Yohan was ok when he was floating in the pool for 10 sec while Shawn was screaming with terror

Cat bite

Yohan was feeding dosa to a cat at Otters and got a scratch. He had to take a rabies injection in thigh and only cried 10 seconds after the injection. Later on we went to Willingdon and Arabelle's house.

Shawn read his stories to Granny, who gave them bandokan & lightning mc queen as presents

Yohan joined Shri Ram school in Pravesh Vatika B. He walked into class and hung up his bag and waterbottle
 

The Monk

Yohan has finally learnt his colors and was able to recognise the changing lamps. Shawn learnt to eat with chopsticks
