Kayan's Birthday Party

Yohan was very well behaved at the birthday party. He was either with Sumitra or on my shoulder and observed everyone. One kid scratched his face quite badly but he cried only a bit.Shawn ate cake & one chicken jungli. He played all by himself with the spoons and baloons.

Mid sept news

Shawn has become an expert on the swing and today he climbed a few steps of the ladder for the silde. He likes to see and hear the Ganpatis as they pass by and rocks his head to the beat. He now monopolises the TV and refuses to eat unless a music channel is on. When the cable is off we have to either switch on the Radio or play somthing on the DVD.

Fido was taken to the vet for a few shots.

Yohan loves to be carried around and refuses to sleep when he is placed in his cot and is in a mood to party. He now says a few words like Ah, Eh, Ha & Ho. If you stroke his cheeks or shake his hands he will smile at you & when you leave his eyes will follow you. When he goes to SeaKist we place him next to Dad who sings to him. If you put your finger near his hand he will clasp it.

Kayan & Shawn both like to play with planes, drive cars, look at Ganpatis and wear any available shoe and walk around the house. Kayan will be 2 years tomorrow and when you ask him how old he is he says "Too"

Chocolate monster

Aunty Hami gave Shawn a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate & by the time Shawn walked home his face & shirt was full of chocolate. He even managed to get the chocolate on to my pants and the camera

Shawn's Horsey Rockingchair

I got this rocking chair from a toy shop in Bokaro. Shawn was a bit scared to rock in the chair at first and kept on holding the leg of his high chair. But once he felt assured, he gave a neigh and started rocking !!! Kayan too felt a bit scared at first but later on enjoyed himself

Shawn will take out my shoe insert and walk all over the house in my shoes. He likes to wear shoes in the house too as he feels that when he wears his "chooz" he will be taken out to play

Haircut

Shawn can now point to most parts of his body if asked. He has also started saying a few more words such as "Dudu", "Juice", "Bow Wow", "AC", "Eya"(when he points to Yohan). Shawn's golden curls have all been trimmed as Yasmin forgot to tell the lady as she was busy with Yohan. Shawn insists that if he is in any room the fan must be on at all times.
He loves going to Kaizad's house and playing with the Danish & Huzaan's toy cars. Yohan's colic has also improved a bit and he is more at ease in the evening and night.

Papeti @ Mondi

Since Yasmin's old delhi friend Deepa was in town we all went to Mondegar at Colaba. The boys slept peacefully thru all the music and allowed us to dig into the mix grill. After that we went to Naturals for ice cream, though it was past 12: 30 the guy gave us ice cream in the car.
