Gagan's wedding

Shawn wore the kurti-lungi given to him by Gautam. He enjoyed himself running all over the hall. We then went to WSC where he was playing in the garden. He now sleeps quite well at night by himsef

brat

When Shawn puts his hand in his mouth we run around and try and take it out as he pukes. Knowing this he has stated putting his hand into his mouth to see our response. When we ignore him, he makes a great effort attract our attention by making a great noise.
He know has see us opening doors and has started pulling the latches. When I ask him to get me the remote control he understands and picks up the remote and hands it to me.
Yasmin will visit the doctor on Monday and we will ave a better idea of the due date. Yesterday, we saw the first picture of baby using a color doppler.

Shawn now says "Taxi" and points to birds, moon, cats, planes and dogs.

Yesterday someone in the next building started a fire works display and Shawn was a bit scared when the rockets and bombs went off

Jay's sangeet

We went for Jay's sangeet at 10 pm and came back home at 11:45. Shawn was up all the time and walked all over the place. He was facinated by the video camera light and followed the camera all over. He work his black benneton pants and cream self check shirt.

lil steps

Shawn cycles all over the house on his Tomy tricycle. He likes to watch the filmy, bhangda music which is constantly played on MTV or Channel V, while he is eating. He loves pressing the TV buttons and has somehow moved the TV of its turning stand.

His potty training is progressing well and he does potty in his little pot, but pisses all over the floor. Since its summer he points and says A/c. He also says "Boow boow" when you ask him what the dog says. Today he spent an hour alone with his grandparents and ran all over Seakist. He had made a big fuss when he was left alone with the maid last week

He has started climbing/ crawling up steps too

Shawn went swimming today. We had taken him swimming last year but this time he was a bit scared to begin with. After he calmed down he started calling out to Yasmin, so on the whole he did not enjoy himself. May be if we do it more often he may like it a bit more.

He had more fun running all around the club eating french fries. A crow took his french fry from his hand !!!

Remote controls

Shawn has now realised that the remote controls can be used with the TV & Airconditioner. So if he wants either on he presses the buttons on the respective remotes to start them. Sometimes he does not point correctly so nothing happens. He has learnt a few more animal sounds for cat, dog, horse and lion and if he is in the mood he will make them if asked.

He also likes to sit on the swing and slide

We are now trying to potty train him, he prefers to sit in front of the TV and do his potty

Shawn's one and a half

Its Shawn's parsi birthday today he is 1 and a half
He gives u a flying kiss if you ask for it
If is ask him what horsey does he goes "Tsk Tck" and a little roar for "what does a lion do?"
His favourite ads are Tata Indiaca, Pepsi Bubly, 7 Up Cool
When he sits for dinner and a nice song is playing he shakes his headIf he is standing he bends his knees to the music
